Sorry to be a late questioner, but when I had applied for PR the proof of funds were set at 12800 and that’s what I showed to get my CoPR now they are 13745, if asked will he funds I need to show be 12800 or 13k.

Hi so I have a question, I filed for PR in 2019, fund requirements were 12800 CAD. Now I am going to make my first landing in 2024. If asked at immigration, what should be the amount I need to show. 12800 or the new amount set by IRCC? @legalfalcon @Miss bee any thoughts??

Thanks for that, I do plan to land in Ontario, and stay there for a while since I have friends there. Also I have absolutely no one in BC. So my ties to Ontario are pretty strong. And honestly if I get another offer that beats the one in BC, I’d stay..that’s I guess is the question that bugged...

Has anyone seen the new CIC web setup, it looks as if they have done away with a lot of stuff, like background check, medical and security notifications and is completely focused on PNP. What does that mean for non PNP applicants?
