    After we get the PR

hi everyone, We are currently waiting for an outland application that goes through the Mexico visa office. (Partner from Argentina) We decided to go the outland way even though my common-law is living with us in Canada while waiting for the PR. He has a multiple entry visitor visa and is not...

Sponsored common-law asked to prove intent to reside

Great ideas np08: we are going to find out what we can get done from these. So far, we were told he could not even get a phone contract, so we did not bother to get bills under his name since this request he got is not something we were expecting.

Sponsored common-law asked to prove intent to reside

Thanks np08, I also think it is weird, but he did receive the email under his name, to his email address, under the request for the Quebec Selection Certificate. Weird is also the fact he got the email a day after they had just requested his QSC...as if they had somehow forgotten to ask for...

Sponsored common-law asked to prove intent to reside

Thank you Erigh04, we are thinking of everything we can show to prove he is here, and I also find their request very strange, since, as you say, the purpose of our application is to get him to come live with us.

Sponsored common-law asked to prove intent to reside

Hi everyone, I haven`t found any info here about this; hopefully some of you can help. I am a Canadian citizen and so is our child. We applied or an OUTLAND Sponsorship for my common-law partner from Argentina, while we were both still living there. (Late March) He got a visitor Visa...

CIC email to send to Quebec?

Hi everyone, we sent our application to sponsor my common-law partner to live in Quebec and I have no idea whether the email I received from CIC is what I am supposed to send with the Quebec part of the application. To me, it does not look like it, but when I go on the website and check my...

URGENT PLEASE- Send app. to Mexico or Mississauga?

Everything is ready to be sent: forms, documents... AND I still have doubts about where to send it all. We live in Argentina and the Mexico office is the one that processes PR visas for us. NOW...Do I send our application to Canada and THEN deal with Mexico for the PR? Or do I send the whole...

    Argentina 2014 - anyone?

Thanks Flor!! I do not know what you mean by NATI. Question about the Mexico office: I am not getting any email answered. Did you guys have to send the whole application to Mexico? Thanks again! Claudia

    Argentina 2014 - anyone?

Hey! Finally got the bright idea to search for the word "argentina". I have sent emails to Mexico and never got an answer. I have questions about translations and where we send our application. TRANSLATIONS We have had all our official documents translated by a sworn translator (traductor...

Schedule A- Do I mention holidays?

Hi everyone, We are filling in the new Schedule A form and we are doubting on question 6. The applicant (my common-law partner) has worked for the same company for 18 years. Every year, he goes on holidays, and has travelled abroad a few times. Does he need to mention these "breaks" in his work...

This is the example I am following. Please, keep in mind I have NOT sent mine so I can't say this is accurate 100%. Use your own criteria. Good luck!!

How to organize my spousal immigration package

I would just put the letters withould folding them, straight just like another page and without the envelopes UNLESS the envelopes are relevant (if the address on them proves you reside there or something...)
