Yes the security check is included in the BG. When it is green, it means that you passed the security check.- MossH

So when should we start talking to the MP? When we applied the estimated time was 9 months then 10 so by the end of Jan we should surpass the estimated time at the time of application. Now on the site it says 3 months and it has been 3 months for a couple of months (at least if not more).- MossH

Since July no update with everything done but prohibition and oath ..... my wife stuck in background since July. Last GU in Aug 13. Although I have a major thing planned in June 2026 that needs the passport, I made my mind that I need to forget my plan.- MossH

Same situation for me. I called and for me it is my wife background check that is stuck in security check since June. They asked for FP in June, sent 2 days later received 2 weeks after. I got my background cleared but my wife no. So we are all stuck with Language and presence done.- MossH

Same as your wife. Contact the IRCC and they will probably tell you that the Background is done- MossH

I contacted the IRCC via phone and I was told that the background check is Done (cleared) but not updated on the tracker. I was told that I only have the prohibition to be done.- MossH
