The Biometrics rules have changed now and I applied for PWWP. However I have not got my study permit extension.

Dont wait. Once you get your certificates apply immediately. That's what my immigration consultant said me.

Your study permit is valid until a decision is made on your study permit extension. You don't need to panic. This was said to me by my immigration consultant. You can submit your old study permit along with the receipt that you received for when you applied for SME.

So, shall I change my status as a visitor and apply for PGWP instead of implied status and then can flagpole when my PGWP is under process? If so, should I change my status as a visitor once my course gets completed because the new rule states that a student can apply for PGWP under visitor visa ?

Hi I applied for study permit extension on Jan 12th and and got a mail from IRCC on Feb 5th that I need to give my Biometrics, so paid the fee and send them the receipt and got the acknowledgement. However I still dint get any letter from IRCC to give my bio metrics. My Study permit is expiring...

What I found was the Border officials cant do any exyensions. They can only give a new permit.
