yep! It took them about two months after receiving the medical results. I really don't know if they did the security check after or before the medicals. In my opinion, there is no common rules- They approach each and every case individually. Amman office is working, and they are super helpful...

If I were in your shoes, I would book my tickets (Amman-Montreal), pack up my suit cases, travel to Amman, get the visa stamped and travel directly from there. Genius! right? ;D

3 months is the each phase duration indeed! I was told by the officer at the embassy that my file now is pending, in three months (in March)the review is expecting to take a place, then they will finalize my case by the end of June. So ladies &Gentlemen! you are expected to receive your visas...

I utterly agree, I already have an appointment with an officer at 9am tomorrow (they start working at 9) so I'll be drinking my morning coffee on my way to his office. tomorrow is going to be my "black Friday" (will spend my day running everywhere to get everything done). Only retards need...

I would have sent them a letter if I had known their mailing address... I was confused, because, as a matter of fact, they reopened the embassy repeatedly and ignored our emails/phone calls for the last two years. I really hope they won't make a mountain out of molehill.

hopefully I'll receive the medical soon. Frankly, I'm a little bit worried cause I've been studying in Germany for a while without informing the embassy. and now I need to prepare a police certificate. I really hope they will be understandable at the embassy.
