Moving between provinces and Citizenship application

Thanks for this. What do you mean by keeping the eligibility period clean? I spent full 3 years in Toronto (moved twice). Thanks again!

Moving between provinces and Citizenship application

Hi there, I will be eligible to submit my citizenship application within a month. I'm considering moving from Ontario (Toronto) to B.C (Kelowna) in the coming months. What do you reckon is the best course of action here in terms of getting the citizenship processed smoothly. I'm concerned that...

    Contractor temporary project in Canada

Yes, I have. Unfortunately, I am still not sure which is the correct category. It seems that the business visitor might be a good fit, but again it says "the accrual of profits of the worker’s employer is located outside Canada." and it gives an example: "Example: A U.S.-based company provides...

    Contractor temporary project in Canada

Hi there, there is a scenario I would need some help with. There is a company in the US that is building a hotel in Canada. They have bought some construction elements and machinery from a European company. The European company is the only one that can come to Canada and assemble the elements...

    Destination:Canada insurance - your opinion?

Hi there. I am in the market for a health insurance. Did some research and found that brokers are offering insurance through several companies - some are well known, some I've never heard about. One of them is a Destination: Canada, that offers quite reasonably priced insurance. Has anyone...

First thing to do after landing

I don't know if ECAS is still available for Express Entry PRs to log in. I lost access to it back in Nov. 2015 and never got it back, so I would not be able to change the address.

First thing to do after landing

Looks like Steaky wrote that a year ago. I will be landing 5.50 PM, so will visit SC sometime next day.

First thing to do after landing

Is that still the case - is there a Service Canada office directly at the airport?

    Health insurance.

This is a very interesting discussion. And I fully agree - no need to try being a smartass here - there is too much to loose. Fraud, misrepresentation - these are the toys you don't want to play with. I did some research and it looks like brokers offer insurance through several companies -...

    Health insurance.

I think what matters is the intent to stay and live in the province, having an address there, being a resident of the province.

That would be awesome. Do you perhaps have any link to a CIC website that would cover this subject?
