I did. No idea! they've also asked for CV and military records. I read in other forums that those who received this request are selected for security screening... a long way ahead of me... It's weird there is no form enclosed to the request.

Mine replied back within an hour and I received the response from IRCC the day after. There was no value in doing this tho. They gave me the same info that I've been getting through call center and webforms. Nothing new....Security not started...Covid....blah blah blah...

This at least indicates that there is a movement in your file. I would consider this as good news.

April 16 same status

I'm in the same boat. Eligibility and criminality passed but security has not started. I hardly believe this though. I think I'm in security screening. In the end, it's just speculation and there is nothing to be done here other than waiting.

Between 6 months and 2 years. And you might never get it too. No one knows for sure. File your application and cross your fingers for the best.

My medicals expired on April 20th and I received two ghost updates on the same day. I called IRCC yesterday after 4 months and got to know that my criminality was passed on April 20th. My security has not started and medicals are expired. Here is the summary: CEC Inland, single applicant AOR...

Mine was expired on Tuesday. I got two ghost updates in a row and the status changed to "you do not need a medical exam". Not sure if this means it is extended or still needs to be reviewed by the officer.
