Sorry if you misunderstood - I was referring to what was on the checklist. If you can provide more proof in terms of what's on the checklist then that's great.

The more the merrier - anything that can support that your marriage is legit is helpful; you can wait or send it out but, if I were you, I'd wait until getting that other document in order to have more to send off to IRCC.

I didn't order notes for my husband's process so I don't know exactly what information is on there - but if they aren't helpful, maybe at least it'll help them look at your file and get something moving  There's a post on this forum on how to get them search for GCMS Notes (or...

Affect the process? That's odd... I don't know but if I were you, I'd order those notes. 15 months is way too long to be waiting in the dark like that.

I believe all is fair game during this entire process. Have you ordered your notes? Maybe they'll help you understand what's the delay.

It has to be a document in which you and your spouse are recognized as such - your job experience letter w/o your husband's name has no relevance as it is YOUR job experience letter (unless they include your husband in it, but that would be odd). You need an important document that has him...

Mexico VO is notorious for not replying - rest assured, they've received it if you got a confirmation email but for piece of mind, you can send another email to verify (although, I doubt they'll reply)

I asked and the person serving that area told us to skip it and go directly to a CBSA officer, and then the officer directed us to immigration :)

My husband did his landing yesterday - for those of you who are curious, the questions asked during the landing “interview” are the ones on the COPR. Went smoothly, out in less than 30 mins as we arrived at Pearson at like 10:50pm. Continued prayers for all of you waiting for good news & happy...

It took about a week after it got there, we should be getting passport back maybe tomorrow or Wednesday :) I'd say a total of 3 1/2 weeks from when we sent it to the VAC in NYC from them sending it to IRCC, back to the VAC in NYC and then to us. I was referring to GCKEY, sorry for not being...

Just wanted to update y’all - my CIC account updated to “Application approved on Nov. 20” & counterfoil details.... now we are just waiting for the passport to be returned! I really wanted to take the time and thank you all for your support. While I can’t say this journey has been easy, it’s...

    ***DECEMBER 2018 OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP***

While I’m glad we’re not the only ones, it’s kind of annoying to know they don’t even bother to do these minor changes. I guess as long as we did our due diligence, we’re good. Thanks for the response!

    ***DECEMBER 2018 OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP***

Hi everyone, I have a question. My husband sent in his passport which is currently getting stamped, etc. My question is: does COPR come along with the passport in the prepaid envelope we sent along with his documents? We’re concerned because his address changed 2 months ago, and we contacted...

NY VAC OFFICE - Visa & COPR Processing

Hello everyone! I was just curious to know if anyone else had recently submitted their passport for visa & COPR to the VAC in New York or have any experience with this specific VAC office? I wanted to find out a little bit more about turn around times and what we should be expecting, as we sent...
