    C-12 bill is likely towards fake refugees. Fake students including too. Students are now required to report to immigration if they get letters. All those happening are good things for legit asylum seekers. Our cases will be getting shorter hearing and faster processing hopefully

    some says 2 months to 6 months. I think will take 4 to 6 months. if u look at IRCC processing times, they estimate 16 months waiting time. Security background check is important step. if u complete it, that means ur case is ready for hearing. they cant schedule until they check ur background...

    Here is my timeline: 10th Feb, 2025 - arrived canada and submitted asylum after few weeks 20th Feb, 2025 - medical checkup, got work permit and brown papers, case referred to IRB 10th Jan, 2026 - background security check has been completed

    i dun think ur hearing date will be late due to late BOC submission. as long as u submit ur application and its fine. BTW, how did u find out ur BOC had not been submitted to IRB file?
