Yes, it says "Please note that as of December 11, 2011, citizens of visa-excempt countries will not have a counterfoil affixed to their passport. These applicants will only be issued a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR)." My papers arrived via mail, I had to sign for it.

Today the papers arrived, three weeks after that little "Decision made" notice came up! I'm so happy! Now to decide where, when and how to land... ;D

Hm, that sounds quick... Yes, I'm from Sweden so visa exempt. I tried calling but got the "please consult our website" message and got disconnected.

Hi everyone, How long did it take for you to recieve any letters or emails after "Decision made"? What did you have to do? After seven months of nothing, our application status suddenly changed to "In process" and then - the day after - "Decision made". We've been waiting to hear from them...

I guess you have to find out roughly how much it will cost you to buy new things in Canada vs. shipping over the things you already own. If you paid 1000 for your bed, and want to get a similar one there, maybe it's worth it to just ship it together with some other stuff, instead of selling for...

It's exactly as it says. Degree certificates are sent to WES by the applicant - you - and transcripts of academic records are sent by the institution - your university. Exactly which papers are which you can ask your institution. The degree certificate in my case was issued to me when I graduated.

I completely understand you missing your sisters. I miss mine too (and brothers, parents, grandparents, friends etc)... It can make you really depressed. I have found two things make me feel happier: - Making new friends/aquaintances in Canada. They're not the same people as the ones I left...
