I lived a few months in another country at the beginning of the 5-year physical presence period, so IRCC requested a police certificate of that country. The IRCC request a police certificate in December. I sent and confirmed that they have received the certificate. However, the "Background verification" status has stuck in "in progress". Anyone has similar experience? Does that mean the background check in still on-going or the status would not...- MakiSenpaiii
