Can you try to apply PRTD during the mean time, I think that can be done in 3-4 weeks and get you ready for your vacation.

I am so sorry for your situation. I guess maybe because the number of landing in Ottawa is much fewer than airport landing so they just wait until having a certain number of application and process them all at once.

I think we are in the same situation. I landed on Aug 19th at Queenston Lewiston. I called few days ago and learned that my app has not been touched yet. Maybe they just wait for a certain number of applications from Niagara and then process them all at once instead.

I just called and apparently my application has not even started yet even though all the info and address they have on hand are correct :( I landed on Aug 19th at Niagara Falls. The dispatch will put a note on my application to try to get it process. Not sure if land border is processed slightly...

I think it is likely the application is approved, status should change to approved and mailed once they sent it out in 2-3 days.

I think most people have problem with the place of birth field, did you try to use the exact way to spell it in your passport ? Also have you ever ordered GCMS note, if so try to input the field similar to the way they do it in your GCMS note...
