I got mail for VO change on 13th June, sent the Passport on 17th, and got notification for collection on Monday 23rd. Unfortunately there is a notice period of 3 months for my spouse's current employer. There is no way to get around that...we don't want to wait as I have heard job opportunities...

Maybe by end of September...now comes the most difficult part...landing a job ??? Heard that its not a good idea to apply from outside Canada, as online job applications are often ignored :'(

Finally, the stamped passports have arrived at the VFS Office!!!! ;D ;D :D :D :) Thanks for all your support people...tonight I will get to see the COPR in hand!!!

I got original PPR on 28th May, sent back request for stamping on the same day itself. The mail for stamping from India has come on 12th June. Yes, the photo requirements have been sent in the mail.

Hi All, I received PPR on 28th May, but since we are in India, our lawyer sent out a request for the passports to be stamped out of India. But till now CIC Ottawa office has not sent any response. Can anyone kindly share how long it usually takes for CIC to reply on this? And since the PPR mail...

Congrats! Even I received my PPR yesterday...is it confirmation that PR is done? Also, my spouse will be travelling abroad for 2 weeks starting today, so is it okay to send it after 15 days? Help!

After waiting for almost 8.5 months, finally we got medical request :) thank you forum members for your support and assurance..however we cant undergo medicals right now my spouse's passport is in undergoing visa processing for some office travel....Can you update me on which are the tests...
