When you say one has received PPR request, it means the email that says "Ready for Visa" requesting you to submit your passport, correct? Cos in my gckey, there is still no update and it just shows eligibility and bc in progress. Tracker says everything is complete. And I've received email...

I just got the PPR email too - Does it say "ready for visa" on the subject line? The PA is from India. Please can you provide the proper VFS link where the passport pick up can be arranged? I cannot find the correct details from the link provided on the email.

I got married in Aug 2021 and have known my wife since Aug 2020. And I've been trying since Dec 2020 for all kinds of visas for Canada. TRV got rejected a few times and now waiting on PR. It's been the most arduous journey mentally. And the wait is just continuing.....

Did you apply online or was it paper based? Mine is online and I tried several times to check status on eCAS, with both PA n sponsor details. Nothing shows up.

I think it means you've reached the end of the process and will likely be asked to send passport.

Hi, I got the pre-arrival letter on June 1st on GC key account. Mine is online outland application applied on Nov 28, 2021. The eligibility still shows in progress and background check not started on both the pr tracker and gc key login. Does it actually mean they're still doing these checks...

You mean like ghost updates? For me the last update was May 18. Eligibility in progress and BC not started. Most likely your eligibility would have started but the tracker is not updated i guess. Check your GC key.

Anyone here who's been waiting for the PA's eligibility/background to be completed for over 2 months now? Does the application get delayed further if a web form is raised with some additional info?
