Test passed on december 10th.

Family application. No additional documents were requested nor FP. Supposed to be routine application. Also we applied with a buffer of an extra year than the requirement. So I am very surprised of this delay. CIC sent a note to local and said we had to wait 3 months if no updates they can...

Sorry to hear that. Did your MP tell you why your case is non routine? Asking because I am in a similar situation . 13 months waiting. MP said you have to wait more no timeline was given and says there is no issues. MP did not say my case was non routine.

Yeah your officer knows I guess you have done all you could. No it's a waiting game and follow up here and there.

Hopefully they will respond with an oath invite to your letter. What does your lawyer say about this? Background check done but the file does not get finalized. Isn't that some kind of an administrative error he might help you fix? I don't mean sue them doesn't send letters or things like that...

Looks like there is a backlog and average processing time must have increased. Otherwise I don't see why they wouldn't finish your application and security has passed which causes most of the delay.

Then what are they waiting for to start the other checks?? Did they tell you ? I saw a few posts of yours stating you still wait for prohibition but if they don't start them they won't finish will they?

Yeah me too. This is why it's getting frustrating.

I don't think that's the reason of the delay. I don't any residence or any ind of other issues and I lived more than for years before I applied (3 years only was required) and yet my application does not get processed when I thought it was a straightforward one!

How come they have started your prohibition and residency?? did you they complete your security??
