    My wife is pregnant and I am yet to receive AIP to apply for Ontario health insurance. Her tourist insurance doesn’t cover pregnancy prenatal or regular checkups. Not sure what can be done just to receive AIP. I know it’s on luck basis but did you do anything different that you got AIP so fast?

    Apply for PR and once you receive AIP, you can apply for Ohip. You need not wait until she receives PR. Although to get AIP, you would need to wait for 6 months or more which would anyways satisfy 153 days requirement

    Open Work Permit for the spouse using AOR received from inland PR application

    Little confused Bcz for spousal open work permit, I think they can continue with the work since I believe their AOR says u can work. Thought same would be in my case as well. Anyone know wat is the realistic timeline to see open work permit to be approved? Tracker says 6 months though
