    I would advise you to talk to Service canada directly for professional response. This forum is not worth for this type of questions. Almost all senior members told me wrong for this question. I asked processing time only for which one member here told me correctly, 120 days.

    Just say visiting family and Friends in " reasons for absence" That is enough. As long you met resisdency obligation, 730 days, card is likely to be renewed.

    After AI, the processing has improved a lot. Straght forward applications are processed within 10 to 12 days. This is really quick. Gone are the days .. 6 to 8 weeks.

    For my wife, it did say " primary ID not provided " However, Updated showed a date. We called IRCC, they said card was approved and sent. We recd the card. I suggest you call IRCC. Most probably a technical error.

    If you see " uodated at date ", you will get card roughly in 4 to 7 days. My card took 7 days and my wife card recd after 3 days ! Do not get secondary screening and so on. Your card is on the way. Cheers !

    On checking with IRCC today, we understand that my wife's PR card is sent thro mail already, on 10 th june. Should be getting it by next week. Note : Today, my wife's PR card received thro Canada post.
