Do you guys know what is PVT. I am in same situation and I had applied for student visa..

I got passport request on jan10 and I had applied for student visa. Today I got an email that VAC got my passport but the visa type is written as PVT. I am guessing it should have been student visa so why PVT?

I Don’t understand about sending to Ottawa because I sent it to Los angels,USA . Will they send it there or process from LA only? Also, you can email them to ask I guess.

Yes but my question is even University is okay if I am deferring my course for May. In that case will University report that I am not attending?

I applied on Nov15 for the second time. At first it was on oct15 and I got refusal letter on Nov 10. I am international student and I didn’t provide proof of my legal status for the first time. My class starts on Jan 8. What should I expect?
