Hey all, glad/not glad to see that I'm not the only applicant from february still waiting for CIC to process my background check... last update on my account was mid may, so far not a peep from CIC. It became routine to check my email every hour to see if I'm not missing any email from cic...

What sucks is that they don't even acknowledge that there is a problem! I did tweeted them yesterday, nothing so far. Never tried to write a minister, gonna give it a go later today!

Just an update. Called CIC 2 times today, the first one the guy just sent me a crappy email that it was no help at all. The second time, I've explained in more details and told that I had already submitted a ticket through the website, he said that there was nothing else to do other than wait...

Still no luck either

You can submit a technical problem from the application page, that's what I did. I've tried to call them today too but no luck on getting someone to talk to me
