I applied on 23rd June, Biometrics on 28th June, Approved on 26th July. So it will surely take 4 weeks from the day of biometrics if it is applied online. Hope this helps.

What did you apply SDS or Non-SDS? Online or Offline? What is your biometrics date? and what all finance proofs did you attach to your application?

Mail them asking to change your address according to your passport. I am not sure about how many days they take but it should be quick enough compared to Scotia Bank. I am also not sure about that refund part.

You have to include the address that is there in the passport.

[Long Answer ahead] I have tried creating accounts in both Scotia and CIBC. Initially i have opened account with Scotia, as many people are going with it, but to transfer the GIC amount to Scotia, our address in PASSPORT should match with the address in Scotia else the amount will get rejected...
