I hope the ghost update will turn to a real update

My tracker updated today - I am scheduled for an oath ceremony on August 1!

I have seen multiple posts on this and other forums from those who are test exempt and received oath ceremony invites with only BG, PP, and Prohibitions showing completed. It would make sense that an "Exempt" status was applied to those who are in that category.

My processing office is in Edmonton. I recall a post in this forum that said those of us exempt from the language and citizenship tests won't see their status change. The next step for us is "Decision Made." One would think that with all the requirements completed, it would not take long to...

My Tracker was updated today. It now shows as completed, Background, Physical Presence, and Prohibitions. Language Skill is In Progress, and Citizenship Test has Not Started. I am exempted from both Language and Citizenship tests, so I hope to be approved soon.

My wait for the US Customs and Border Patrol have responded to my FOIA request - almost exactly six months from when I sent the request. I have sent the documents to the Calgary Office. My tracker was last updated in March. Will see how long it takes to see movement again.

There has been no movement on my FOIA. I called the information line, and they confirmed they had the request, but it is taking 3 to 6 months to process. On April 13 it will be 3 months.

3 months! I hope it won't take that long but I don't expect it anytime soon.

I had an interview, and the result was I needed to submit more information. Currently waiting on the US CPB to provide records of my entries into the US.

IRCC has requested proof of my time spent outside of Canada by providing US Customs Border Patrol records on my entries into the USA. I have submitted a FOIA request to US CPB.

I did not enter the periods spent outside Canada before becoming a PR.

I had my interview today, and I will be resubmitting a revised physical presence calculation when I receive an email requesting me to submit it.
