    Early May 2025 or May 2024? If May 2025!, I would suggest applying for a work permit to be on the safe side with immigration and also mind you the process for family sponsorship is now taking longer than anticipated due to reduced PR quotas.

    It's normal. We had same because my husband was already here as a student and did Medical previously. I believe there is a public policy exemption one from Medical if they are inside Canada and their last Medical was less than 5 years ago.

    It says everything approved. The COPR number is also there. I don't think it's a big deal they probably just forgot to update the site.

    I wouldn't think so. You will still be inland I believe they will put your file on hold and resume when you notify them that you are back in Canada.

    If you are outside of the country by the time they send you P1 essentially your landing will be on hold till you come back.
