It only matters if at some point during 3 years of approved sponsorship the PA receives gvt assistance then the sponsor would have to repay that to gvt since they agreed to supporting their spouse. Hopefully it works out. I had an experience with IRCC holding out my citizenship oath ceremony because I had to travel. They seemed weird about it at first..I called n called n multiple emails and finally somebody responded and said I should let them know when I am back to schedule another oath...- kemilembe

Am June 30th: waiting for P1 background still says processing. I saw some June applicants got P1 upto to June 20 something. Let's hope it's soon.- kemilembe
