YES! we too couldn't make an appointment for 2 weeks out, but we just walked right in and they didn't even ask for our appointment time. Just bring your paperwork and its done in 15mins. I highly recommend just walking in if its convenient for you to.

I've called twice from within Canada and have had no issues either. Have waited about 30 minutes for wait time. There isnt an option to speak to someone but when I pressed 00 i was able to wait to speak to someone.

My American husband (PA) is living in Canada with me now. We got the instructions to give biometrics, is it true he has to do them in the US? The closest office is a 3 hours away, which we can do but that sucks if its true

You will have your UCI and Application No to link online but it's not necessary. I have been having troubles linking mine but maybe you will have better luck. If not you can still check your application status online with the link they provide in your corresponding emails. Good luck!
