Canadian Passport - Mail-In Application Timelines

Passport application was delivered by Canada post on July 19. Absolutely nothing since then; not even a CC charge. Today marks 33 business days since the application was delivered. I have just submitted a complaint so we'll see what happens. Expected date of travel is end of October so I am...

    July 2019 - Citizenship Applicants

Where is my AOR? I mailed my application end of June, package was received after the long weekend (July 2) yet no AOR. Tried ECAS - nothing there. Should I be worried?

    Determining common law status

Hi everyone, I need help determining marital status. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have posted this to the Citizenship thread as I'm applying for my citizenship. But I figured the marital status experts would be here. I moved to another province in Aug 2017 for a job. My boyfriend...

    Marital status

Hi everyone, I need help determining marital status. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I moved to another province in Aug 2017 for a job. My boyfriend signed the lease with me so that there was a better chance of getting the apartment. We've never had a joint bank account or had both our...

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

Called CIC this morning and they told me my PR card is in production. Landed May 27. Linked the PR Card application to CIC and it says "Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details", but when I go back to the main page it says "Submitted" instead of approved. Weird.

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

I know what number to call, but what options do I choose so I can talk to them about the status of my PR card processing?

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

I think your other option is to land when you return to Canada from your trip. It's unlikely that you will have your PR card by the end of August as the current processing time is 57 days.

You would think that it should be okay. But you can always give CIC a call and ask about it.

    CoPR - Landing in Ottawa

You CANNOT use your work permit/visitor visa to come back. Once your COPR has been signed by an immigration officer you are a PR of Canad and any previous permits/visas are cancelled. If you land at the border you have a better chance of getting the PR card in time for your trip (as you don't...

Shared on March & April AOR forums as I believe most of Jan AOR CECs have already received PPR. :)

AOR in April 2017 - Let's Connect Here!

Already posted this on the March AOR forum but I figured I'd share it here too. Copied over: In case anyone's interested, here's my super detailed timeline. My GCMS notes weren't generated until COPR was issued (notes requested May 3, generated May 26, sent to me June 2 - COPR was issued May...

    confusion after ITA

I don't think anyone can answer your question but generally speaking, sure, the inconsistency can have an impact - as anything can impact the PR application process. However that's not going to stop you from applying for PR right? So all you can do at this point is making sure everything you're...

You can print it first then write it in, and I think that is the best way to do it as you will want your bar code printed properly (you may not be able to copy that into MS word properly). Hope this answers your queston,
