Unfortunately when an application is transferred it is now out of the normal processing times. There's a thread on here where you can follow to learn more about who are in the same position. Some people are waiting over 2 years now with no updates. Keep being strong and everything will work out...

There's already a thread in here for people in the same situation whose application was transferred to etobicoke for further assessment. Your application will now be out of the normal processing time and can now take up to 2 years or more to be completed.

The process takes approximately 12 months. It could be more or less. U applied in September which means you still have 5 more months. The key is to remain patient.

I will call IRCC or check all your email folders carefully. Usually from the timelines o this forum lately Etobicoke takes about 2 weeks to a month the most to schedule your landing appointments.

Sponsor approval is suppose to be easy to determine but for your notes to say sponsor secondary review may mean that during the background check they may have found something they are concerned about.

It looks like they are doing secondary review on your sponsor. Does your sponsor have a criminal record or something he didn't admit too in the application that they may have found out about?

Unfortunately if you do contact IRCC and inform them of your separation your application will immediately be denied. If your sponsor does not attend the interview your application will be denied and closed. Sponsor MUST attend the landing interview.

Both of your ID'S need to have the same address or you will get turned away and have to wait weeks again for another appointment date. U need to show proof that you reside at the same address so please take bank statements or bills with the address if you husband doesn't want to change his...

If u show up to your landing appointment with a different address they will send u away to the nearest bank to get bank statements to prove your address or u can just take whatever bills u have that proves that you living together.
