Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

Hi Prateesh, Hope you are doing well. Did the border officer tell your family how long will they have to wait to get their PR cards? I know CIC website says 127 days or so, but I don't trust that information because even PR applications processing time says 6 months which is not entirely true.

Hey Prateesh, that is such a good news. How was their travel experience. Did they travel from India?

As per the instructions on the letter that I received it did mention that a photocopy of passport will be required if the applicant is from a visa exempt country.

The portal email is only for inland applicants, Once you get a PPR as an outland, you need to submit your passport and PPR letter to the VAC in your country. They will issue you a one time entry visa and a COPR letter. Make sure to check the validity on it and prepare for a landing process...

    Wrong information on e-CoPR

Congratulations, Woah this has been a long wait? Is this normal or yours was a special case. I am a CEC inland applicant got my PR within 15 days of COPR. However my wife will be completing her landing in November, was wondering how long of a wait will it be.

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Any outland applicant\dependent who landed recently? I am the primary applicant (CEC inland. I received my PR card within 15 days after the COPR). My wife will be completing her landing process in November (If the travel permits). How long of a wait should I expect for her PR card?

No, you can go ahead and accept the job , move to Europe, inform IRCC about your updated residential address. The only thing then will be that you will receive a PPR as opposed to a eCOPR and you will have to land in Canada to confirm your PR status. This is as per my understanding.

Should be fine. Those status do not matter much. I received my PR card and the status was showing reviewing medicals even almost a week after that. I wouldn't worry much.

As Yasir said, expect a biometrics request soon. And if you have not submitted your medicals already, get an upfront medical test for yourself and your dependants to save some processing time. Good luck

@legalfalcon . Would also like to add that she did not update her passport after marriage, and name of spouse is blank in her passport.

Hi @legalfalcon my wife received her COPR. However the martial status on her COPR shows as blank (the dependant section shows my details). Her eye colour is printed as black. Whereas she has brown eyes. Are these major changes and should they be reported? If yes, should they be reported to...
