My CIC did not show this letter in my case. The letter was received via email from NDVO. The letter explicitly mentioned sending passport through VFS.

Received Passport with Visa from NDVO yesterday :) However we have not received the original supporting documents that we had sent earlier to NDVO. Does anyone know how to get them back ? Does an email to Delhi office suffice ?

Received PPR today from NDVO ! Ecas shows as decision made and in myCIC background check status is changed to "We are processing your background check".

Yes, that is correct, I received it yesterday morning. Re-medical was requested in Nov 2017 and she completed it in Nov itself. By early Dec 2017, status changed to "Medical passed". After that there is no change in status so far.

Received pre arrival letter from NDVO for my mom today. But the background check status remains the same at "Not applicable".

PCC from India can be obtained by applying at passport offices. It took a day to get it for my mom. They said sometimes they send for police verification, if so it might take a few days to get the PCC.
