Oh wow so it does. Without telling you in any way shape or form, unbelievable. Thanks for that, I would never have known otherwise and it would have ran over the 7 days they give. It's incredible how awful this system is.

Does anyone know how these things take so long? Surely at this stage everything is approved, they just need to mail them out? Hearing so many stories about them messing them up, putting the wrong name or nationality on them too. They really can't seem to get any step of this entire process done...

I'm applying online, the message said "Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format. You must upload a copy of your receipt to your MyCIC account" Seems a bit ridiculous that they aren't able to tell if you've paid them or not.
