Why was it complicated ?

From what I've seen it can take between 1 to 3 months before you hear from them. The CIC agent told me it was 3 months, if im lucky 2 months. Today will be exactly 2 months from when Ottawa received our allowed application. Still waiting.

Did you get your request by e-mail ? Do they send it to both the sponsor and applicant or only the applicant ?

Oh my appeal has already been allowed, they haven't contacted me or anything they just allowed it. I'm just waiting for a communication from whoever will be dealing with our file.

Yes, which we did. I sent them proof twice, one in October (regular mail) and then another one in November (via Fedex). They never got back to me and i tried calling them to make sure they got it, which im sure of because my tracking number on the Fedex one said "delievered". The agent said that...
