Do they take pictures (while receiving the certificate) and then give you hard copies of it ?

Looks like Montreal is very active today. I see close to 5 Oath invites today !

They are inviting guests based on the capacity they have in the hall. So if they say max 2, it should be strictly adhered to. The Oath letter states that anyone extra will be refused access.

Just wait a bit. You will eventually get it. The status is updated first. The email comes out later. Also make sure you are monitoring your Junk/Spam folder.

In my personal opinion, having a lawyer to fill out you citizenship application is an overkill. Its not rocket science. Sure somethings might be confusing. Thats the reason most of us are here to get help. You can always post anything that confuses you on the application here.

Yes. Very important. They will ask for it during your interview.

It varies from location to location. Im from MTL and have been asked to wait 5 months. Some places get it in a lot lesser time. you can see the averages from the Tracker sheet.

By the way you wont get any snail mail / email. Just regularly check ECAS. Timeline varies from person to person depending on background checks.

Whats the max capacity per Oath ceremony in MTL ?

All the originals of everything you sent with your application. i.e. All passports, CoPR, PR card and all original IDs. Any proofs of language in their original form. Nothing extra needed. Dont worry about Police certificate. They will have your file infront of them during the interview.
