All you can do now is wait. It usually takes about 1 month for the embassy to notice your file is there and it is usually 6 months or longer from that time. Noone knos if you will need an interview, only the embassy. Just wait now and they will contact you when they get your file or if they need...

Hi there.. It no problem for visits. I would wait until he sends in the papers and he has approval from canada to sponsor. I am now sponsoring my husband and it is near the end of the sponsorship and i came back here to be with him a month ago. Goodluck

Hi there ..I am currently sponsoring my husband from lebanon. The process goes through Syria and the average time from syria is about 6 months. It is supposto be one of the faster embassy's. Goodluck.
