Did my oath ceremony yesterday, hoping to receive my citizenship certificate soon.

My oath is on Aug 14th but haven't received any email or details for joining ceremony, is that normal?

100% agreed, holding onto citizenship just due to oath isn't good. They could at least schedule the Oath ceremony even if it's a few days or weeks out, that way we know what to expect. Right now it's just a limbo that I'm living in, not sure if ceremony will happen in 3 weeks or 3 months. No...

I feel this thread is slowly dying, getting less engaging. Signs are that most of the Aug'22 applicants now have their citizenship so not a lot to talk about and those who got citizenship probably won't be interested in following updates. Hoping that last few of us receive our oath invites soon...

My citizenship test invite was from NGF office so I'm assuming they are the office processing my application.

Thanks! I just emailed them to ask if they can schedule my ceremony soon. It's frushtrating because my application is in complete step for over a month now except ceremony is still not started.

Ah ok. Did they tell you why was it transferred? May be workload balancing! Hopefully I'll get oath invite soon because my US visa expires soon and then I have to travel to US on expired H1B until I get Canadian passport and get new visa on it (Getting new visa now on Indian passport isn't worth...

Where do I find that email address? Oath ceremony says Not started on tracker so I don't see any details there.

Last update was on June 9 - everything complete except Oath was not started. It still says not started. Anyone got idea how long does it take? My application is online, and processing office is Niagara.

Just be honest, listen carefully and answer humbly and you'll be fine! Don't complicate or have a per-planned answers.
