    The problem is he is outside the country, and he is the only one who ESDC can talk to. So may be he should wait till he comes back or they know and they claw the money back? Any ones knows if in this case they will be penalties? The intuition was fair but the situation had changed.

    Sorry but why he does not qualify for GIS if he does have any income and I support my dad and we passed the 10 years sponsorship obligation? How did Service Canada approve his GIS if he does not qualify then?
