Syrian Refugees VS. RQ Processing times

Canada has no economic future with this kind of policy where foreigners are favoured over residents and Canadian citizens.

Been 200+ days since Test (Passed): No Decision Made, No Oath, No nothing!

Be patient . CIC is up to his neck working for Syrian refugees and does not have time for you.

The Very Very Very long wait is finally over!!!

Congrats I am happy for you. I am happy to see that CIC found some resources to accommodate long suffering tax paying Canadian resident . with them being so busy processing refugee visas and such.

Syrian Refugees VS. RQ Processing times

This thread started off balanced but has become one sided. Looks like the refugee supporters are more persistent.

Syrian Refugees VS. RQ Processing times

I have much more sympathy for starving people in Africa who are suffering due to drought and other forces of nature. The whole Syrian thing is a bunch of people unable or unwilling to settle their disputes in a civilized manner and are therefore asking Canadians to pay the bill.

Syrian Refugees VS. RQ Processing times

A country cannot treat its own residents like garbage the refugees like kings. That does not hold water.

Syrian Refugees VS. RQ Processing times

You are diverting the issue. I am not asking whether Syrians refugees should be brought in or not. I simply asked not to be discriminated against for being a tax paying resident and not a Syrian refugee. If the government goes out of its way to help Syrian refugees and does the quite opposite...

Syrian Refugees VS. RQ Processing times

Hi Guys, I got my citizenship few months ago after my case was in process for 3 years almost because of RQ delays. I am hearing the news these days about the tremendous effort being put in place by CIC official to bring 25,000 Syrian refugees by the end of February . I heard an interview with a...

For those who have ever requested a family file splitting due to RQ

I am deeply saddened to see another male applicant getting treated harshly by CIC while his wife and dependents breeze thorough to citizenship with no questions asked. This have happened many many times in the past , myself included. I hoped that among the many policy changes and the overhaul of...

    CIT 0520 after citizenship test

I think that if you are summoned to a citizenship judge these days it means that CIC objects granting citizenship . Meaning that CIC has concerns which it could not address from the documentation you provided and has provided with the judge with a negative reference with regards to your case. In...

@ St Clair-RQ-Preliminary review completed, referred to level 2 decision maker

Re: @ St Clair-RQ-Preliminary review completed, referred to level 2 decision maker Yes this makes sense. When I talked with my MP office I did not complain because I figured there is no sense in doing that. CIC and MP are just covering for each other. CIC needed some extra...

Re: @ St Clair-RQ-Preliminary review completed, referred to level 2 decision maker Not sure if Janoo had a test (I think he doesn't need one) so if you look at delay between the test day and oath day I have no contestants. :) By the way I would have gladly forfeited this title for...

Re: @ St Clair-RQ-Preliminary review completed, referred to level 2 decision maker I beat both you guys : My test was 23 months ago. My oath will be just two weeks before the two years mark of my test. Looks like I am the champion of the post test delay of this forum :). It is a very...
