Got LPP set to complete today, now the only thing in progress is Citizenship Ceremony. Does anyone know what is the average timeline to get scheduled for one?

    February 2022 - Citizenship Applications

Good morning, has anyone received a ghost update on their application today? The status for pending items is still the same, with no changes, so wondering if it's a mass update they did?

    February 2022 - Citizenship Applications

Hey there! I have the same timeline. Applied in February 2022, BG Complete August 2022, Citizenship test Complete October 7, 2022, Ghost update March 2, 2023. I guess we just have to live life and be patient :p I was also in the same boat as you when it comes to PR card expiry - it was expiring...

If you are in IP2, the next step is a PPR. I dont know for sure, but my guess would be that it'll be moved to Ottawa. You are at a finish line and already passed 3/4 of the waiting time, so don't worry about it. Once you stop thinking about it, you will get it :)

No. Unless you do some crime or get some serious illness. I suggest you inform CIC through emailing CPC - Ottawa (CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca ) about the change of the country of residence, simply because they will send you a PPR with a former US address instead of Indian.

For those who are interested in landing in CIC office. The average waiting time is 2 weeks :)

Hey! First, stop freaking out. Really. STOP. You are only 4 months since submitting the application, when the processing time is 6 (!!) months IN AVERAGE. Your eligibility will be under review even after you receive PPR and send your passport to them. If someone received PPRs earlier...

You do not have to meet the funds requirement if you were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1145&top=29

Yes. They need to know that information, in case any of your family members will apply for PR in the future. This is a normal procedure and they ask family information even when you are applying for a regular visa only for yourself. DO NOT WORRY :)
