Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

No clue but @NaughtyGoodman mentioned something about those. Some lawyer mentioned the reason behind slowdown as being paper files but so are 2019 ones. Quite intrigued myself.

Good. Hope they start following FIFO soon and clear the humongous backlog fast. Quebec applicants have been traumatized left and right by its government first and then abandoned by IRCC as well.

Thanks. November 2019 is surprising indeed. I am hoping they will finalize all 2018 and 19 cases by mid this year and then start with 2020 ones.

Don't worry about CSQ, it remains valid till your PR application is finalized. You don't need to renew csq for owp public policy or anything similar. Do you have some travel history outside your home country and Canada?

Good info. When you say 2018 applications were 'all' made on paper. How is it different to 2019 or 2020 ones? Thanks

I have seen many people from July-Dec 2019 receiving AOR on Nadia Barrou's group on FB. This is French, Belgian group. No one from 2020 received AOR AFAIK.

Any concern regarding stuck QSWP files is well meaning. Those from July-Dec 2019 who received their AOR and were able to connect their application in IRCC portal saw their progress bar around 80%. So time your file spent in Oblivion would still be counted. All the best.

If I do not work at all during PGWP, will it be a problem to get PR approval?

What are you even talking about? Get your facts right about Quebec and then look at OP's query and your answers. You are zillion years away from their question. I know of one another person on this forum who replies similarly and sticks to their guns. We should try our level best to stick to...

If I do not work at all during PGWP, will it be a problem to get PR approval?

OP's already applied for PR from Quebec. Already got an (temporary) acknowledgement under QSWP. OP as already answered - There isn't any issue whatsoever with being unemployed during PR process in your situation. All the best.

Agree. Couldn't have said it better. Worse is they still show 17 months for new application and as soon as you apply it changes to 27 months. A deadly cocktail of pseudonationalism in the garb of propagating french and bullying/harassment of hardworking prospective migrants will certainly have...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Your stress and anxiety like thousands in similar situation is legitimate and understandable. Quebec has abandoned those who it chose to progress its economy and culture and federal doesn't give a damn. Atleast now federal is coming out (soon) with a public policy of not returning PR files of...
