Hi, Has anyone on this forum from Pakistan recently received their Study Permit approvals and submitted their passport? I am hoping to receive my passport request soon if all goes well, and called VFS Global to find out how long it takes for the passport to get stamped etc, and I was informed...

That's great--means you should be getting the Approval soon although how long it'll take is really not clear at this point. I received my Biometrics Correspondence letter on July 22nd but no other updates since. Some people got their correspondence letter & pp request same day
