PhD at McMaster University. Applied online on July 8 (study permit for myself and TRV for spouse) Online status as of today shows medical is pending. Had completed few days before applying and uploaded scanned copy of acknowledgement slip. Still awaiting update from CIC.

@jerin The medical centre gives you an acknowledgement saying you've completed the tests. The report does not come to us directly. I've uploaded the acknowledgement. Report would be sent to them directly by the clinic. Or as @PMM says, it goes to Immigration Regional Medical Centre who review...

@Canola28, It is possible to do that. Check the below lines out from the CIC page. "You can avoid delays by getting your medical examination done quickly and submitting it with your application. It is not mandatory to complete a medical examination when you submit your application. However...
