common law - is joint bank account necessary for us

Hi, A joint bank account wont really hurt, but would add more credibility to your relationship. However, I think proof that he is sending you money (e.g. Money transfer receipts with your name for over a year) would be of your advantage if you include it in your application.

Anyone do a Table of Content for your PR application?

Hi, I did make a few tables for mine - one for each section (e.g. Sponsor, sponsored, and supporting documents),but I placed the checklist on top of everything. I did some post it notes as well for things that I thought would raise questions. I think it worked well as I did not get any email...

Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

As for proof of funding, I remember I had approximately 24,000 CAD in my bank account, plus a proof for my accommodation. I think that's safe? I applied mine in June via online application and had my visa a month after (got delayed because the hospital took a month to send my medical result). I...

Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of applying for my off-campus work permit. Does anyone know if I need to have a job offer letter beforehand? I had the impression that looking into jobs goes after getting my work permit. Good luck to all waiting for their visas! HA

Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

There are probably many ways to show proof of funding. I deposited 10k CAD + 1 year tuition fee to my bank account, and requested for a bank statement. Then i just uploaded it online.

I dont remember exactly but I think it's like $1 for every $100. I could be wrong though. Just call the representative who opened your bank to verify. :)
