No. My working Visa in Dubai expires in June 2022. I was hoping to get Canada PR by then so that I don't have to renew my Dubai visa, which is why the processing time is important for me. My application moved to DIP on December 17 2021. No change since then.

Okay I read about BOWP, but it is applicable only to those who are in Canada already. So Outland applicants need to wait for PR right?

I am sorry I don't quite understand. And what exactly is BOWP? Also I need to add that I am currently not in Canada, I'm working in Dubai where my visa expires this year June. Apologies if I am being ignorant

I feel awful. It's a silly mistake. The status still stays submitted only. But it's the reply from oinp that was confusing as they dint ask me to withdraw, they simply asked me to write an "explanation letter". But i already have explained everything. Do they simply need me to write the same...
