Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

My husband and kids landed today! Had our interview this morning and their cards will be in the mail in 5-6 weeks! Very relieved for this long, exhausting process. Our application was posted on Sep 5, 2017 and AOR Nov 6.

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

So I’ve mentioned on this thread once before that our circumstances have changed and we therefore will be moving back to Australia at the end of November on a one way ticket. I’m a dual citizen - Australian/Canadian - will my husband and children be able to maintain their PR status outside of...

I’ve just checked ECAS and there is Decision Made on both mine and my husbands so Landing will be soon I guess! The SA and AIP letters came from the Vancouver office. What does that mean time wise, anyone have an idea?

My husband (applicant) and I (sponsor) just received letters stating that we have passed eligibility and been approved as sponsor! Is this DM or just AIP? Just wondering how much longer we can expect before landing?

Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2017 timeline and updates

Hey guys - We completed our medical on Saturday and were told that our kids results would be submitted right away and that my husbands results would take a little longer due to the required X-ray etc. Anyways here’s my question: How long after completing your medical does it take to hear...

Not giving up, circumstances have changed and unfortunately that is what is in store for us at this time. We would love to continue and complete the process, if possible and if our time frame allows. Obviously that would be first choice after all our efforts and costs in going through this process

Another question regarding my post... since we’ll most likely be moving back to Australia indefinitely (with hopes of coming back to Canada when the time is right) will my husband and children’s PR status remain valid, as long as they are living with me - a Canadian citizen by descent (born in...

Thanks so much for your reply! The only problem is we have not submitted our medicals as of yet... there’s too much to explain for that but basically we are doing them this Saturday and submitting them ASAP. Will the end result be delayed because of this?

Hey all, So our situation has changed, resulting in us possibly having to move back to Australia permanently. If so, we wouldn’t be moving back until November/December. My question is, if we withdraw our application (which has been processing since Sep 2017), will my husband still be able to...

Hi all, So our situation has changed which means we will most likely have to move back to Australia permanently. This won’t be until at least November this year, and we are Sep 2017 applicants. So my question is if we withdraw our application now

So we just received our medical requests in our CIC account.... I am a Canadian citizen sponsoring my Australian husband and 3 young kids for PR... So I received 4 separate forms, one for each of them. Anyone know how much these things cost? is it around $300 each? There is no way we can manage...

November OWPs are being approved - ours was Nov 22 and I've seen a couple approved from the 26th and such... you should get your OWP approval very soon!

You most likely won't have any update until approval. For mine I only noticed in my GCKey that it read 'Updated' next to my OWP and then I saw that it was approved (this was nearly a day before I received the email of approval, and a week before the OWP arrived in the mail). Mine took 3 months...
