According to the letter I got, PR Card is only delivered to a valid Canadian address. My letter doesn’t even have the courier address. However I went to Canada Post and was told express mail can get delivered to PO Box.

It is true because I was there yesterday. She couldn’t change my status to permanent resident still, quoting it was too early. So she end up just issued a new one expiring in a year under my old work permit and said next time they’ll change my status.

Got request for new photos on Friday afternoon. The luck I’m having. The photos I provided were taken only two weeks ago too.

To renew your current health card also bring your employment letter and current work permit. Service Ontario has to “bridge” those two. Otherwise you have to wait three months without health coverage.

It took about 12 days to reply mine.

For 2: You have to wait for your COPR to make appointment if you want to do landing at an office. If you call the number they’ll tell you to email them and to include a lot of info such as your COPR’s expiry date.

You cannot go any day you want, some borders have designated days for processing landing. It was implemented last year or something.

Did anyone in Toronto complete landing at the Etobicoke office? How was the process, intimidating/long/short/easy? How long did IRCC take to reply with an appointment date?

Your employer calls it part time because they gets away with paying for your benefits. But as long as you work more than 30 hours a week for 52 weeks, you will meet the minimal requirement.

Their processing speed really slowed down since mid last year.

The work experience for CEC is one year (or equivalent) in the past three years prior to your application. So if you are applying on June 4, 2019, any work experience pirior to June 6, 2016 would not be qualifying hours. (One year is 365 calendar days according to IRCC.) Don’t overthink all...
