No you don't need an I-94 just for flagpoling.

Try to get your permanent SIN too the same day. Just check Service Canada hours and plan your flag-poling accordingly. Not necessary though! Just an advice.

I received my passport yesterday; Sorry I didn't get time to update here in the forum. Got my CoPR validated from the Douglas Border (Peace Arch) yesterday evening. And today, I got my new and permanent SIN as well.

***UPDATE*** Passport dispatched on Feb 08/2019 I guess I'll probably receive it today evening or tomorrow at the latest. Will keep on updating.

I'd say wait for a couple hours and keep on checking your email. I've heard PNP candidates are also getting PPRs today. So don't panic and hang in there....You'll receive it soon. Good luck!
