Well, the first case applied to CIC in April 2010, and submitted supporting documents to Cairo VO in August 2010, got medicals in March 2012 The second case is a bit strange, as he applied to CIC on 5June 2010, and submitted supporting documents to Cairo VO in FEB 2011, got medicals in FEB 2012

Thanks Zee81 for the prompt response, and yes it is complimented with a civil engineering degree. I hope this is sufficient I know of two cases who have received their medicals one applied in early June 2010, and the other I believe was in April 2010 or something ....

Hey Guys, Glad to meet 0711s I applied in Jan 2010, 2nd AOR May 2010, update request DEC 2011, since then nothing has changed the E-case is in process with the same details of RBVO..... I don't know what's the issue with our job code?!!

Hi Enthral, I guess that your best bet is to send an immediate fax to the embassy explaining the situation and requesting them to expedite the visa issuance, or to send you back the passports so you can use them and then revert them back to the embassy after you arrive at the other country...

It's not easy to predict ... it used to be somewhere around 3 weeks to 1 month. However, I know someone who had sent his passport since early December 2011, and still didn't get it back till the moment

It's really hard to predict anything with these guys. However, this change in your case could mean that you may receive your medical test request within the month of February... Good Luck

Guys, Few friends of mine who applied to the visa office between FEB & MAR 2010 have received requests for updated background declaration form along with PCC & Bank Statement.
