I suggest you contact the IRCC because this is definitely abnormal. I applied Dec 27th and received my rejection after 6 weeks. The website calculates the average processing time for U.S applications is 8 weeks.

I also got other issues like "purpose of visit" and "length of stay". I guess because of the missing document, my whole application looks less trustful. I reapplied on Feb 19th. Your case sounds more positive than mine, I think you will be ok.

Hi, I am not sure I can help. But, I do know you can only call them inside of Canada (really fucked up rule) and there is a webform for you to contact them. Just find the help center.

yeah I already did that. I only got an auto-reply said they won't reply me unless my application already passed the normal processing time. I also noticed they said you can only provide additional documents when they ask you to do so. Pretty fucked up situation.
