I'm sorry I didn't quite get the last sentence, so from those 4 years each year you have to be in canada for at least 6 months ?

Hi guys, I'm a little bit confused ... which one is correct, one of my friends told me that pr can't spend more then 6 months (180 days) out of the country each year or you should have to reside in canada 2 years out of 5 year period of time ? just want to stay on the safe side thanks in advance
