Félicitations! I finally got my oath invitation today in the email. It'll be held on Sep 6 at 9am in Plaza Antique. At what time/place is your ceremony?

My application status changed to Decision Made today. I wrote my test on July 16.

You can apply for your passport in-person in both offices. The one in downtown is the main office, but the one in Market Mall is just a Service Canada office where they will take your application+documents and forward them to the main office in downtown. However, since they do that by batches...

Just wrote my test today. Easy peasy 20/20. There were roughly 50 people attended the exam. My interview took like 5 min. The officer didn't even bother to check my original documents. She just looked at my IDs and asked me some basic questions about my work history, family...etc. She said I...

Hmm strange. I don't see how CIC will process your application and send you a refund in just two weeks. Did you receive the refund on your credit card? Maybe someone used your credit card to pay for application fee and cancel the application afterwards.

I doubt it's a refund from CIC. Ask your bank who sent you the money.

At least you're done with your test/interview. I'm an Oct applicant and have been waiting for my test invite for nearly 6 months. Have a great birthday on July 30th :)

Where did you write your test? And how was it?

No. I just walked in without appointment. Just don't forget to take all the documents listed in the letter you received from CIC (COPR, PR card, IDs). The whole process took about 10-15 min.

I did my FP at Saskatoon Police Station on 25th street. It costs $35 and took roughly 2 weeks for CIC in BC to receive the results from RCMP in Ottawa.
