    It should be No as you're not physically present in Canada from 2021-2026. A resident status (temporary or permanent) is only when you enter Canada legally and stay in the country for a period of time (measured in "day(s)"). This is just my interpretation and should not be taken as legal advice...

    Language was updated as completed this morning, while Physical Presence and Prohibition are still in progress. It looks like I will have to wait for a long time as LPP are usually updated at the same time.

    Seym makes a great answer to mention that the physical presence is calculated with 4 years immediate before the date you submit your application. It's locked and whether you're in Canada or not after submitting the application is irrelevant until you need to come back to Canada for Oath Ceremony...
