for your age i don't think that travel history would be a problem, and you just need to provide the source of income and the bank statement of the person who will sponsor you. so i think you have a good possibility.

I don't think there is a chance to study in Canada without having a proper IELTS score, and even if it happens and you find a University/College the visa will most probably be refused, So i suggest you to prepare for the IELTS as there is very low chance you will be able to study in Canada...

you can check the progression time from the Canada website as it varies from country to country. for example the progression time for a study permit from my country is 7 weeks.
