They asked for another x-ray at the time of medical which was scheduled 2 months later of 1st medical in Feb2020 and finally they passed medical in Jan 2021. When I contact them for delay in August 2020 they said it was due to COVID because they are providing only essential services.

File update: Police certificate, background check updated form, medical request and pre arrival letter received on 18 October,2019. Documents submitted 30 November, 2019. Medical done 17th November, additional X-ray done on 17 Feb and finally medical submit on 19 February ,2020.

Yes I have got it for my mother in one day, I didn’t see expiry on her I.D but she left UAE in 2013 and that still worked.

Thanks for reply, I searched other forums and found how to apply online. Just FYI if someone in same situation that fingerprint is not required if person has Emirates I.D,it can be done online and received in e-mail in one day.
